Discovering yoga was like an ‘aha’ moment in my life. It became a transformative experience amidst my career working as a Registered Nurse, providing solace in the face of work-related stress and anxiety. I recognised the possibilities of leading a holistic life by harmonising scientific knowledge with ancient wisdom. In my classes, I strive to merge these realms, weaving together our external and internal encounters with the invaluable tools yoga provides. I also find joy in guiding students to explore postures by emphasising the importance of alignment and synchronising their breath, enabling them to delve deeper into their practice and experience the profound benefits of yoga.

Yvette is passionate about sharing how the yoga journey will cultivate inner strength, through the practice of yoga to face lifes challenges with courage and grace but most importantly with laughter and love.
Yvette is an authentic, down to earth spiritual person who can relate to all walks of life. A mum of two has certainly given Yvette the challenges of carving out the time to practice yoga and nourish her mind body and soul.
Yvette discovered yoga 25 years ago when a back injury from gymnastics had her in chronic pain 80% of her life for years. After discovering Yoga she prioritized her life around getting to her yoga practice. Yvette can certainly relate to various injuries from her own experience. Yvette found that after each yoga practice, she would leave with a renewed back, mind, and heart. This made Yvette realise that yoga was the intrinsic glue that held everything together. It has been not only “life saving” for her but a way of life.
Yvettes classes are nourishing and mindful about awareness on the breath and feeling into and really listening to our body. Feeling the connection between the breath, body and our mind, and treating ourselves with the gentle unconditional love that we all deserve.
My name is Conny, and I love teaching Yoga!
I grew up in a swimming pool, meaning even though I started off doing Kindergym I spent most of
my teenage years doing laps in the pool and competing at National Level back in Germany.
Well, that’s a long time ago. After retiring from competitive swimming, I explored other activities
and that’s how I experienced my first Yoga Class. Not knowing what to expect I still recall that I felt
like: ‘I just had an internal cleansing shower’! Feeling good about myself without measurements e.g.
times to compare, distances to make was new to me and I wanted to learn more about Yoga. That’s
how my Yoga journey started some odd 30 years ago. During those years I realised that I have
developed a certain awareness not only about myself but also about what happens around me.
I now know that practicing yoga, taking that time to reflect, relax, restore, and feel that connection
between body, mind and soul, is helpful in any stage of life.
I am passionate about Yoga and love to share and to bring the joy of practicing yoga to as many souls
as possible because life is good! Life is good if we feel good mentally and physically.
I have completed my Yoga Teacher Training with YOGA NRG for Yin Yoga as well as POWER YOGA
(also known as Ashtanga Yoga).
